So where is the maisonette located, and what's nearby?

This place is only 15 mins walk to Greenford underground and to the town centre....

GREENFORD (UNDERGROUND) STATION: Is only 15 minutes walk away from the house, it can also be reached via a short 5-minute bike ride. Greenford Underground Station is located in zone 4 of the central line westbound (only 27 mins to Oxford Circus), and also serves as a British Rail station, with fast trains to Paddington in 24 minutes.

Relevant Links:

NEARBY SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS: are only typically 15-20 minutes walk away, or a 10-minute bike ride away - going towards the Greenford Red Lion pub, in central Greenford. There are Tescos, Woolworths, and other major shops and stores nearby, with plenty of pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. To the north (near Greenord Station) is the Westfields Shopping Plaza, with a large Boots (with Gym), WHSmiths, Next, McDonalds, etc. Ravenor Park is also only a 10 minute walk away from the house.

Relevant Links:

THE LOCAL EALING AREA: offers much more by means of shops, bars, restaurants and parks, with excellent connections into London and other nearby tourist attractions. It can be accessed by the bus network, or through the rail service at Greenford Station.

Relevant Links:

LONDON BUSES FROM GREENFORD: are easily accessible, with an extensive day-time and night-time bus network going through the town. The nearest buses to the property are the E6 and the E10.

Relevant Links:

EASY ACCESS TO THE MOTORWAYS: gives access to the M25 via the A40/M40 motorways, and the M4 can be easily reached from the nearby A312. The A40 goes straight into London (Baker Street), and is only a 30 minute drive away.

So is this your kind of area?

Greenford is a nice town, with enough of a countryside / suburban feel to it. It is also a relatvely safe area, with a very low crime rate, and due to the suburban success of the neighbourhood watch scheme. It does also have the basic requirements of a town area that you could need, and easy access to the city, or to the outskirts of London should you need it.

And because of the access capability, the prospective tenant does not need to own a car. A bike, or simply walking, is sufficient to get around town.

The maisonette itself is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, which is ideal for those seeking some peace and quiet. The area is separated from the A40 motorway by grassland, so that you cannot hear the traffic.

So the information above will hopeully assist you in making your decision about Greenford as a place to live. Please continue to browse the links below for more information.
